Sales and marketing

Given my previous experience in product management and in sales and marketing in many different sectors, both private and public, I would be able to assist social enterprises in their efforts to promote their services in a competitive market.

I think I can fairly claim that I have a talent for quickly gaining an understanding of a new market sector and for then being able to come up with strategies for promoting new products and services to meeting likely market demand in that sector.

The services I can offer in this area include:

  • Market research to establish what products and services are or likely to be in demand in a given sector, including:
    • customer analysis
    • competitor analysis
    • working with staff to carry out SWOT (strengths, weaknesses, opportunities and threats) analysis based on the organisation’s existing products, services and resources
  • Development of marketing strategies and materials.
  • Help in developing strategic partnerships on a win-win basis with other organisations that provide complimentary products and services.
  • Targeted sales strategies
  • If appropriate, helping to mount telephone sales and marketing campaigns
